B.o.B - Out of My Mind ft. Nicki Minaj [Official Video]

B.o.B. plays a mental patient in the video for his new single "Out of My Mind," which features Nicki Minaj as a sexy doctor.

"I'm bi-polar to the severity/ And I need medication apparently/ And some electrocompulsive therapy/ I am psychotic but there is no remedy," Bobby Ray raps over the Dr. Luke synth beat. "If these n----s go dumb, I go to the mental facility/ See man I'm so out there, I slap fives with E.T."

Though both rappers appear in straitjackets in the Bennie Boom-directed clip, B.o.B.'s handcuffed, wheelchair-bound character also receives a lap dance from his pink-coiffed co-star. Sexy nurses, parole board members and Hannibel Lecter masks abound.

B.o.B.'s sophomore LP, Strange Clouds, is in stores now.

Fat Joe 'Pride N Joy' Video: Kanye West, Ashanti, Miguel Support Terror Squad MC

Fat Joe has released a new video and it is littered with stars. Kanye West and Miguel both make substantial appearances and lend lyrics to the Hype Williams-directed "Pride N Joy."

Miguel frontloads the track with his signature Auto-Tune croon and 'Ye chimes in along with the Terror Squad leader in the first half of the song.

Jadakiss, Yasiin Bey (formerly Mos Def), DJ Khaled, Roscoe Dash, Ashanti and Busta Rhymes all show up in the video as well. Shot in Brooklyn, the visual for the song tracks a bronze-skinned beauty modeling different expensive outfits in a very suggestive fashion.

"Even if she all about the money I don't really care," a chant the whole crew sings to open and close out the effort, encapsulates the sentiments Fat Joe has for his lady.

Rick Ross, Young Jeezy Fight at 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards, BET Issues Statement

Def Jam rappers Rick Ross and Young Jeezy reportedly had an altercation Saturday night (Sept. 29) during a taping of the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards held in Atlanta.

According to TMZ, the fight occurred backstage after the two had a verbal spat. The site also reports that their respective bodyguards broke up the brawl.

Witnesses heard the Maybach Music Group head and the Corporate Thugz Entertainment creator throw heated words at one another, which lead to a pushing and shoving match between them. In the past, Ross and Jeezy have released tracks taking verbal aim at the other.

There were several reports of gunfire that took place in the parking lot of the Atlanta Civic Center, where the awards were being taped. However, a spokesperson for the Atlanta Police Department said those reports of shots being fired "appear to be untrue."

BET released a statement regarding the incident.

"BET Networks works very hard to bring the best in entertainment to the city of Atlanta. For the past 7 years BET has celebrated the true art form of Hip Hop. Due to some misjudgment of select attendees, it is unfortunate that certain incidents took place. BET Networks does not condone any type of violence. Local authorities are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible."

Busy Signal - The First Time [Official Music Video]

Busy Signal’s manager speaks out on the deejay's prison stay, future in music

With embattled Dancehall/Reggae superstar, Busy Signal just under two months away from regaining his freedom, the entertainer’s esteemed manager has illustrated a very thought-provoking picture of his client’s prison experience.
Busy Signal was slapped a six month sentence last week Friday for absconding bail in relation to a 2002 drug case in the American state of Minnesota. However, given that the Reggae Music Again singer had already served time in Jamaica and the United States in relation to the matter, presiding judge, Donovan W. Frank ruled that Busy Signal would be released on November 21 and will subsequently be given 45 days to leave the North American country.
But before Busy can one again return to his musical exploits, the internationally acclaimed singjay will be focused on regaining full health after a rigorous stay at the Sherbourne County Jail in Minnesota. In an interview with Irish and Chin Inc. radio outlet, Sound Chat Radio, Busy’s manager, Shane Brown painted a grim picture of his client’s life behind bars, revealing that the entertainer would only be fed fish once a week, would never see sunlight and has lost considerable weight and energy while in jail.
“Busy has lost quite a bit of weight…closer to 12-15 pounds. He’s very weak and he’s not eating right ‘cause Busy just prefer to hol’ it and eat some crackers and some juice fi all a week straight,” he said.
“The most important thing to us right now if to have Busy fit and healthy.”
Meanwhile, Brown shed light on the situation that landed Busy Signal in this predicament ten years ago, before considering a career in entertainment. According to Brown, Busy Signal took a risk in deciding to flee the United States in a desperate attempt to make something of himself, resorting to cleaning shoes at one point just to make ends meet.
“To come back into Jamaica and to be in the streets of the ghetto, it’s easier to go left that on the right track. You know what Busy was doing for two years? Busy was cleaning Elephant Man’s sneakers just to get some money to buy likkle sardine and likkle rice,” he said.
After being Elephant Man's helper for two years, Busy Signal decided to try his crack at deejaying and, after being encouraged by Alliance founder, Bounty Killer, Busy soon launched his career, envisioning that he could capitalize on other Dancehall/Reggae markets as big or bigger than the United States, where he could not go given his legal situation.
“Under my management, I know Busy can’t come to America so therefore I’m saying, ‘Ok, we need to clear Busy Signal a stronger fan base in Europe and in Africa because the reality is that Europe and Africa endorses Reggae music more than the United States,” Brown said.
With that re-focusing, Busy has established strong fan bases in Europe and Africa, performing a litany of shows in across both continents while emerging into one of Jamaica’s premiere musicians through classics such as Step Out, Not Going Down, One More Night, Nah Go Jail Again and Come Over.
Now, ten years later, Busy hopes to continue that marquee success across many of those same markets while Brown hinted that the popular singjay may perform a series of concerts and promotional events in the United States to promote his successful new album, Reggae Music Again before leaving the country.
Though Busy has this black mark on his otherwise clean record, Brown hopes that Busy Signal’s growth as a person over the last 10 years will help him to regain his status and reputation within the musical scene worldwide.
“The most we can do is present Busy as he is and ask for pardon. I’m going to work hard at it to try and get him back in these places. As the judge said, the purpose of being incarcerated is to try and rehabilitate somebody. This man naturally rehabilitated himself. We just a beg mercy, that’s all we can do.”

New Song From Movado Ft. Karian Sang – Take It [Raw]

Mavado - Settle Down [Official HD Video] Mavado back in Jamaica, reportedly the subject of a ‘hit

Internationally-acclaimed Dancehall superstar, Mavado has finally made his long-awaited return to Jamaica, but despite being back home, he’s making sure to watch his back at every turn.
According to reports, Mavado may be the subject of a ‘hit’ given his return to the island and has been beefing up his security detail and entourage to ensure his safety at all costs. This after the prominent singjay was reportedly the intended target during a shooting outside Bounty Killer’s birthday party at the QUAD nightclub in Kingston, which left his close friend, Conroy ‘Connie’ Edwards shot and eventually killed. Soon thereafter, Mavado revealed in an interview that the bullet which ended up killing ‘Collie’ was indeed meant for him while hinting that undercover police officers may have been in on the plot.
Last summer, following the re-acquiring of his United States visa and his subsequent deal with DJ Khaled’s We The Best Music Group, Mavado reportedly relocated to the U.S. where he’s since toured and strengthened his international appeal with several collaborations featuring Akon (Survivor), Ace Hood (Emergency) and the aforementioned DJ Khaled (Suicidal Thoughts).
Now, with Mavado back on home turf, sources close to the singjay claim that a hit remains in effect for him and that safety hails as the priority for the ‘Gully Gaad.’
“Dem a say Vado switch, stop do Dancehall music and all kinda things but a tru dem nuh see wah gwan from the top ... A safety above anything else right now fi di deejay," one source told the Jamaica STAR.
Mavado’s long-time manager, Julian Jones-Griffiths also confirms this belief but insists that his client continues to put his faith in a higher power as he tours the island.
"On the record he doesn't really want to say much on the subject, apart from he's heard of it, and he's still alive and never scared and trusts in Jah,” he said.
Despite the speculation, Mavado has been focusing on re-ingratiating himself with the Jamaican public; performing at Arthur Guinness Concert at the National Indoor Sports Centre in Kingston on Thursday night while also garnering heavy rotation on local radio stations with new singles such as Real N****s Do Real Things, Invincible and Take It (feat. Karian Sang).
Additionally, Mavado continues to battle his share of legal issues as he was given a February 12, 2013 court date on Thursday in relation to the aforementioned incident at QUAD last June. Mavado stands accused of assaulting an undercover police officer in that matter.
